ZANAE – BAKERY YEAST AND CANNED FOODS INDUSTRY – SUPPLY OF THREE ARTO/D 3000 - 3000 kg/h steam generators with their peripheral equipment

''ZANAE'' – Bakery yeast and canned foods industry, a leader in its field, has inaugurated its cooperation with our company in its production unit in the Industrial Park of Sindos in Thessaloniki.

Three steam generators of type ARTO/D 3000, steam generating capacity 3000 kg/h each with Economizers and the most modern operating and safety equipment were delivered. In addition, a steam tank, a pressurized hot water tank with stainless steel deaeration head, a strain vessel and a central steam distributor were delivered.

ARTEMIS S.A. also undertook the design and construction of the gas network, as well as the new boiler house of the plant and the installation of the THREE steam generators with their peripheral equipment.

The project also included:

- Stainless steel double-wall chimneys with 25 mm insulation.

- The water supply system of the three steam generators is composed of a pressurized water heater with a deaeration head and a softening system. The above, with the latest operating and safety equipment, communicate via an independent electrical panel with the central electrical panel of the entire boiler room.

- A central steam distributor of sturdy construction and barrel type from the renowned German company ARI Armaturen connects the three steam generators to the steam boiler.

- Steam pressure reducing stations with all the equipment provided as well as proportional steam valves for precise regulation of the steam supply to the consumption

- A blow down vessel into which the automatic strainers of all three steam generators discharge.

- Commissioning of all the above equipment and training of staff in its correct and safe use.

All the operation of the steam generators and their peripheral equipment (steam boiler, hot water tank, blow down tank) is controlled by a central electrical panel with PLC and touch screen display. The system allows remote monitoring by our company's technicians and their immediate intervention to solve any operational problems.

All the above equipment was put into operation and at the same time the staff was trained in its correct and safe use.
