TERNA ENERGY – TERNA S.A. "Energy autonomy to the island of Agios Efstratios" - Hot water boiler type PRN / HW 800

''ARTEMIS S.A.'' as a supplying company of TERNA ENERGY, has supplied a PRN / HW 800 type hot water boiler, 800 kW, for the hybrid system of electricity and thermal energy production from RES in Agios Efstratios. With this project, the island will be the first energy independent Greek island !

The boiler was built and certified according to the strict specifications of steam boilers.

The automatic modulating burner ensures smooth and continuous operation of the boiler, with minimum fuel consumption. At full load it has an efficiency level exceeding 91%, which ensures great economy in operation.

The boiler was delivered with an integrated return protection system, which includes a three-way mixing valve, pump, isolation valves and prefabricated piping sections.

The entire operation of the boiler is controlled through a central electrical panel with SIEMENS PLC and touch screen display. The system allows remote monitoring by our company's technicians and their immediate intervention to solve any operational problems
