High quality insulation

Low heat losses through high density mineral wool protected by :

  • D.C.P metal sheets, coloured in blue
  • Aluminium, stucco type metal sheets

Turbulators

Sophisticated design turbulators force smoke gases to follow a whirling path, which increases the heat transfer due to convection.

They lead to an increase in the boilers efficiency up to 5%.

Electrical control panel

The electrical control panel of the boiler consists of the following:

  • General switch
  • Burner switch
  • Circulator thermostat
  • Thermostat(s) for burner function
  • Safety Thermostat for burner
  • Thermometer

Economizer

By fitting an economizer the boiler efficiency can reach 96%.

ARTEMIS economizers are especially designed and can be applied to both new and already existing boilers.

  • Finned  tubes of high quality
  • Large inspection openings
  • Easily removable and pre-mounted to the flue gas rear chamber.

 

Maintaining the Return flow temperature

In order to maintain the return temperature in a hot water boiler, a system is used which consists of the following :

  • Recirculating pump
  • Three-way motor valve
  • Temperature control
  • Shut off valves

All the above are delivered pre-assembled, so the installation time is reduced to just a few hours.

Soot accumulator

Soot accumulators must be used when the fuel is heavy oil, because the flue gases contain high content in soot and unburnt masses which are particularly damaging for the atmosphere and the environment.

Soot accumulators through a special layout of their fins retain a big part of the soot and the unburnt masses and as a result the gases driven to the atmosphere are cleaner.

Due to the fact that heavy oil has a high content of sulfur- which is particularly corrosive - the soot accumulators are made of stainless steel metal sheets.

Expansion tank for large systems

For heating plants with working temperature over 120 0C, classic membrane expansion tanks are not appropriate.

The solution for that, are the industrial expansion tanks, which use compressed nitrogen or air, while a system of conductivity electrodes regulates the water level inside the vessel.

Construction and testing in accordance to the P.E.D 2014/68/EUrelative to the pressure equipment (PED)

Widely applied in industries with superheated water heating circuits (water temperature around 150 °C).
