The ARTO ELB type heater is an upright boiler that is externally surrounded by a helical coil completely welded to the body of the boiler. The diathermic oil (primary medium) circulates inside it, while the water used is in the inner tank.

- Very Fast hot water production !! The most direct way to produce hot water since the diathermic oil usually has a temperature of 250 to 300 0C.
- External diathermic oil heating element, so that it is not at risk of accumulation of salts on its external surface from the water used.

- The water tank also functions as a large hot water reservoir.

Insulation
Insulating materials properly selected to reduce energy losses to a minimum. Ceramic wool and stone wool of high density (100 kg/m3) are used, while the coating can be:
- Galvanized sheets, painted in the characteristic blue colour of our company
- Stucco aluminum sheets
- Stainless steel sheets
Depending on the needs of each customer and the particularity of each installation, the heaters may or may not be insulated.
- When filling the heater with water, be careful to fill first the inner bucket (water for use) and then the outer one (water from the oil heater). .
- Fit a safety valve below the maximum working pressure of the inner tank (use water)
- Fit a non-return valve to the cold water inlet
- Install an expansion tank in the water circuit from the boiler
- Do not forget to connect the inner bin to the ground
Hot water for use must be stored at temperatures above 60 °C, in order to avoid the risk of Legionella
ARTEMIS S.A. has a simple electronic panel that provides protection against Legionella.The water temperature is periodically raised to 75 °C for 10 minutes. Then the system returns to its original settings.
